Pete Davidson appeared to be in high spirits as he celebrated his sister, Casey's, college graduation day.

The SNL star, 28, and Kim Kardashian, 41, split on Friday after dating for nine months, with a source telling E! News that the exes were having a hard time to 'to maintain a relationship,' due to their conflicting schedules.

The comedian's mother, Amy Davidson, shared a tribute post to her daughter, and one photo showed the proud mama posing in a selfie with the graduate and the actor.

Sending a smile: Pete Davidson, 28, was seen smiling for a photo while celebrating his sister, Casey's, graduation day in New York City the same day his split from Kim Kardashian was revealed

Pete was seen sending a smile to the camera as he took part in his younger sister's special graduation day from Pace University in New York City.

His mother typed out a caption to her post, writing, 'A beautiful day celebrating @caseydavidson!! PA! We are so proud of you!! Love you to the moon and back. Beautiful inside and out! We are so blessed XO.'

The King Of Staten Island star donned a cap and a thick, gray hoodie for the ceremony and celebration.

Split: The comedian and reality star officially separated on Friday after dating for a total of nine months

On her own Instagram, the graduate quipped her accomplishment came after '26 months and 3 emotional support dogs later.'

The news of his separation from Kim quickly spread through social media and the internet. A source confirmed the end of their relationship to Us Weekly on Friday.

'They amicably split this week,' the insider stated. Another source recently had expressed that The Kardashians star was very excited for Pete to return to the States after filming his latest film, Wizards!, abroad in Australia.

'They send each other love notes while the other is sleeping and FaceTime whenever their schedules link up.'

'The distance has been hard, but even communicating long-distance is exciting for them,' the source explained to the entertainment publication.

Two different places: An insider close to the exes revealed that the two were, 'in very different places'

Another source came forward and revealed that one of the reasons for their sudden split was due to them being in 'different places,' especially age-wise.

'Pete is 28 and Kim is 41, they are just in very different places at the moment,' the insider stated to Page Six, adding that Pete is more 'spontaneous' and 'impulsive.'

However, the TV personality is a busy mother. 'But Kim has four kids and it isn’t that easy. She needs to focus on the kids.'

The insider also explained that Kim was having a difficult time juggling her life and seriously dating, stating she was, 'totally exhausted by this relationship and other things going on in her life.'

Hard balance: Kim was having a difficult time and was becoming 'exhausted' juggling work, family life, and a relationship

Separated: Although the two split on Friday, Pete appeared in public to put family first to support his sister

The two first met when Kim guest starred and hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live in October 2021, and they shared a quick on-screen kiss.

Sparks immediately flew between them, and shortly afterwards, they decided to take a chance and date in real life.

Kim was previously married to rapper, Kanye West, or also known now professionally as Ye. The couple married in 2014, but the media influencer filed for divorce in February 2021.

The exes share four children together, North, Chicago, Psalm, and Saint West. Despite filing for divorce over a year ago, details are still being fine-tuned. Kim was declared legally single earlier this year in March.

Kanye publicly voiced his dislike of his ex-wife and the SNL comedian forming an attachment, and referenced to beating the actor up in his single, Eazy. Pete tried to calm the waters and meet with the singer to no avail.

Kim and Pete appear to slowly be moving on following their amicable split, with both the stars putting family first and as their main focus.

Family first: Following their split, Kim has been focusing on her four children, with Pete spending time with his own family for his sister's college graduation

Focus on children: A source stated that Pete was too 'spontaneous' for Kim since she has four children to take care of at home
